A dancer leaps into the air, a swimmer dives into a pond, and a model pivots at the end of a runway—all in support of the mission of Silent Spring Institute. Since its inception, the Institute has been the recipient of the good graces—and creative fundraising efforts—of many supporters. There have been swims against the tide, midsummer fashion shows, and evenings of song. Salons across Cape Cod and Eastern Massachusetts have held cut-a-thons on Valentine’s and Mother's Days. And volunteers have raised funds through PowerWalks, modern dance performances, and triathlons. In addition, the Institute hosts its own educational and inspirational events.
